Wednesday 30 December 2009

In the new year the quilt group that I go to on a Wednesday have been set a challenge by Wendy. We have had to exchange 3 co-ordinating fat quarters and the challenge is to transform them into something. The date set for this is January 6th. I am busy working on something that will be revealed later. I hope that it works out ok as I don't have a pattern and that the receiver likes it. Watch this space.

The weather outside is very dreary. Whilst parts of the country are getting snow we have cold, miserable rain. It is so grey out there.

Usually, we can see the beautiful Quantock Hills. Not today. As you can see, just grey. On the bright side, we have had the shortest day so the days should be getting longer. Right.

Take care.

Shirley.

  1. Hi Shirley,
I would send you some clear sky if I could it it is 7am here and the temp has just dropped from 31C at 4am to 29C. Predicted temp today 41C. A good day to water early then spend some time in the sewing room.
Looking forward to seeing what you make for the challenge.
